Hi, I'm Rachael

Trauma-Informed 500hr E-RYT Yoga Teacher, Certified SOEA Feminine Embodiment Coach, Somatic Educator, Birth and Postnatal Doula

I've spent over a decade immersed in the world of somatics, cultivating a deep understanding of the body-mind connection and the transformative power it holds.

How did I get here?

I was thrown head first into grief at a young age. I was left confused, disempowered, and disembodied. Like many of you who have experienced trauma, grief, and overwhlem, I adopted a belief that the world is not a safe place. I was living in survival; reactive, scared, and disconnected.

At the age of 19 I was introduced to the world of somatics at university, and have since explored many pathways and tools to find my way back to myself over and over again, including; yoga, meditation, breathwork, dance and somatic practice, talk therapies, and embodiment work.

My path in yoga and somatics began as a personal exploration, a quest to uncover the hidden wisdom that resides within each of us. Through years of dedicated practice, study, and self-discovery, I've come to embrace the fundamental belief that the answers we seek already exist within us.

My role, as I see it, is to serve as a facilitator, a guide who empowers you to tap into your innate wisdom and truly listen to the whispers of your body and soul.

Coming into connection with the body can lead to profound healing.

My approach is centered around embodiment – the art of fully inhabiting and experiencing your body in the present moment. Through personalised guidance, and tailored practices, I empower you to cultivate a profound connection with yourself, fostering self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a deep sense of inner peace.

With a decade of hands-on experience in the field of somatics, I've honed my skills as a compassionate teacher and space holder. My journey has encompassed in-depth studies in yoga, movement, and somatic practices, allowing me to curate a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern insights. This fusion equips me with the tools to help you navigate through the layers of your being.

My clients say it best...

“Rach talks of accepting you in your wholeness, and doesn’t waver from this.

The deep acceptance I felt to show up as me — and for that to be fine, perfect, all that’s needed — allowed me to shift into accepting myself as I am, without thinking something has to be different.

The differences I’ve seen in myself over the past few months haven’t come from shaming myself (which Rach calls a “magic killer”), but they’ve happened through the kindness and patience I’ve cultivated towards myself and my actions, and reflections I’ve taken to better understand why my responses have been certain ways.”
